I received a BS in Human Services from California State University and an MA in Counseling Psychology from Chapman University. I am also a state Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), a certified Parent Effectiveness Training instructor (PET), a certified Hypnotherapist, and ULC Minister.

Since 1970 I have specialized in individual, couple, family, and group therapy with a broad range of people in many settings, including hospitals, a prison, universities, elementary and high schools, teen and family counseling agencies, a community mental health center a temporary home for unwed mothers, and several private practice settings.

I was a California state licensed psychotherapist in private practice before moving to Washington and starting Woodinville Counseling Service in 1980.
